Bray & DCS: Maggie May at the 70th Bray - Report and photos: Irish Canine Press
ANOTHER weekend, another show, this time off to the National Show Centre at Cloghran in Dublin for the Bray Canine Society’s 70th anniversary championship show, sponsored by Dr Clauder’s. The show attracted just under 1,100 dogs for the judging panel drawn from home and abroad.
Although subject to intermittent showers, some very heavy though thankfully short, during the day, it was a more than pleasant day with a nice relaxed atmosphere and the outdoor arrangements, slightly changed from normal, gave a different feel and look to the proceedings. Secretary Rose White and her team, headed by brother Thomas Loughlin, ensured that everything ran smoothly. It was great to be able to make out the clear and concise announcements over the loudspeaker system, ensuring that the show came to a satisfactory end in the evening sunshine by 5pm.
