Learning how to handle different breeds by Marina Scott Eleven year old Robyn Arnall, from Northampton, has already made her mark on the junior handling scene in the Midlands and Paws…for youth was delighted when she agreed to talk to Marina Scott about her short but exciting time in the dog world.

Kayaking, biking, climbing and dogs by Marina Scott HANNAH Escott, 22, from Kidderminster, Worcestershire, likes to live on the wild side. In her spare time away from showing terriers at dog shows, she likes a spot of kayaking, mountain climbing and biking. But how does she find time for all this?
  AS YOU can imagine I have many conversations around the shows about junior handling, most of which don’t ever get to feature in YHIS, but some do.
My mam inspires me to do well by Marina Scott Luke Johnston, 14, from Houghton-le Spring, handled a Saluki to BOB and G3 at Crufts and Hound Association of Scotland and is quickly becoming one of the most exciting prospects in the dog show world.
Scottish Junior Handler of the Year by Marina Scott IT WAS third time lucky for 16-year-old Ashley Place, from Lockerbie, as she took the title of Scottish Junior Handler of the Year last month at Airth Castle Hotel in Stirlingshire.
  AT AN open show a couple of weeks ago I was talking to a young handler who is just starting out and still finding some of the things judges ask for confusing.
  CRUFTS 2012 was very special for 22-year-old Sam Dyer from near Tiptree in Essex. Sam handled the Weimaraner Sh Ch Sharnphilly Awesome (Finn) to the CC and BOB.
  THE FINAL closing date for this year’s Young Kennel Club National Camp is Monday, April 30, and so it’s not too late to decide you would like to go.
  WELL WASN’T Crufts fun! I certainly enjoyed it and I’m sure you did too. We are lucky that the world’s greatest dog show is ours to be a part of.
