Hinckley show was held on June 1-2 and is another one of our biggest shows of the year, not really in entries, as they do not have classes for everyone, but in the sense of shows at championship level.
Not all trials stop during the summer; there are a few opens and one or two PD championships. One of the latter took place in Scotland at Lauder recently, although I am not sure it could be described as a ‘summer trial’.
At Exeter DTC championship show this year Pat Watson judged the dog ticket and Herbie Watson judged the bitches and the entries were slightly up on last year with 23 entries in the dog class and 19 in the bitch class.
