Around the Dog World to be screened abroad

Created: 25/07/2012

THE LATEST Around the Dog World comes from the world-famous Windsor ch show set in Home Park in the shadow of Windsor Castle, where Michael Quinney was judging best in show.
The programme, presented by Marina Scott, includes highlights of all seven groups with interviews from each of the winners and judges, plus extended highlights of best in show and analysis from Pam Blay.
Actress and singer Martine McCutcheon was present, and Marina was able to find out what had brought her to the show – her first one.
The week before Windsor, torrential rain forced Blackpool ch show committee to abandon the show after just one day. Around the Dog World also features an interview with Blackpool secretary Steve Hall, on what would have been day two of the show, from an deserted showground which had come to resemble a quagmire.
Around the Dog World takes a step forward this month and moves towards an international audience, as broadcasters in Thailand have taken an interest in the DOG WORLD-produced programme. In addition to the interest from other channels, Horse & Country TV is expanding its broadcasting to include the Netherlands, Malta and Belgium, where Around the Dog World will now be available to the European audience.
Earlier this month Dog World relaunched the website, and taking pride of place is a dedicated Around the Dog World section.
Around the Dog World: Windsor premieres on Wednesday August 1 at 10pm, on Horse & Country, Sky 280.
