Team GB squad announced for 2012 FCI World Agility Championships

THE KENNEL Club has announced the selection of the Agility Team GB squad to compete at this year’s FCI World Agility Championships. The event will take place in Liberec, Czech Republic, from October 4-7, 2012.

The team was chosen following a selection day held at the Alan Higgs Centre in Coventry on May 28.

The selected team members for large team are Alison Roets, Eostre Of Berkano; Greg Derrett, Nedlo Detox Sproglett; Angela Williams, Nedlo Jitterbug and Laura Chudleigh, Flickcee Hot Rod. Large individual includes Greg Derrett, Nedlo Detox Sproglett; Angela Williams, Nedlo Jitterbug; Laura Chudleigh, Flickcee Hot Rod and Dave Munnings, Waggerland Sunny Jim. Medium team includes Natasha Wise, Ag Ch Raeanne’s Flipping Heck; Denise Wilkinson, Ag Ch Meisterwerk Jexie Jangles AW(G); Alan Gardner, Ag Ch Touchango Again Girl AW(G) and Angela Williams, Withersfarm Perfect Ten. Medium individual includes Natasha Wise, Ag Ch Raeanne's Flipping Heck and Denise Wilkinson, Ag Ch Meisterwerk Jexie Jangles AW(G). Small team includes Marc Wingate-Wynne, Vanitonia Mister Big; Clive Foden, Sirensong Beyond Compare AW(G); Amy Lawson, Ag Ch Million To One and Rosie Cavill, Fieldspy Leana. Small individual includes Marc Wingate-Wynne, Vanitonia Mister Big; Amy Lawson, Ag Ch Million To One and Rosie Cavill, Fieldspy Leana.

Graham Partridge, team manager said: "Judging by the very high overall standard of the dogs and handlers that entered the qualifiers this year, we will have every chance of meeting our own aspirations and our goal to be in the medal placings with as many of our team as possible.”
