NEWS FROM Ireland comes from Jan and Stephen who made the trip to Davidstown to see the Glen of Imaal show. Elizabeth Murphy awarded BB and BIS to Eamon Dobbins’ Knockroe Daisy and BD and RBIS to Eamon’s Ir Ch McGeoghan Bran.
RBD was Mr and Mrs O’Toole’s Knockroe Big Boy and RBB Linda Christie’s Ballyfoyle Glendallough. Beside the show there were also working demonstrations and competitions.
A good number of dogs were eye tested. Ages ranged from 12 months to ten years and all dogs tested were clear.
I have now received my passes for South Wales. Some of these mid week shows are a bit awkward for those who work or in my case it can be awkward getting my dog sitter on a weekday. We are second in the ring so hopefully I will be able to make it. The judge is Bill Browne Cole. It is also a single CC show which I think is always disappointing as sometimes the males being bigger and more impressive seem to have preference.
